Ventilation running day and night

If the ventilation is running day and night, there is probably an error in the control system - typically a hanging switch, or programming error. This type of error is often not identified, and the energy consumption for ventilation and heat/air-condition will therefore be unnecessary high for a long period of time. The life-time of the ventilation system will also be shortened.

Sensors used: PowerMoniSpot

Method: The sensor is mounted on the cable to the ventilation aggregate. If the unit consumption doesn't shut down "at night", you will be warned, in order to take action.

Alarm setup: Is added automatically for ventilation aggregate units or can be added manually on other unit types. No other setup is needed.

Ventilation needs service

If the ventilation begins using more energy than normal in the running cycle, it might need service. I.e. if the bearings are worn out, or if there's dirt in the fan. Both indicate that service is needed, before the ventilation breaks down.
